Why this exists
The map is the product.
On a phone, the three names on the map get the first calls, and Google gives a business a different position at every point in its service area. So that’s what we work on and what we report: a grid of points around your address, read by how many of them are in the top three. Profile work, site work, and links all exist to move that grid.
Two ideas run through everything. The website should mirror the Google Business Profile, page for page. And topical content comes before geographic content: prove the trade first, then the towns. That order matters more now than it used to, because AI search results draw on the same profile and the same pages when they name a plumber. We say that plainly because it affects how we work: a small number of plumbers, each getting real attention, rather than a hundred getting a template.
